Temple Sheriff’s Station would like to highlight one of our Temple Station deputies who was recently interviewed by a local news station right in front of our station lobby to discuss how to drive more safely in the rain. With the recent storms impacting our area, this was a great opportunity to share important safety tips with our community—reminding drivers to slow down, increase following distance, turn on headlights, and allow extra time to reach their destination safely. We’re proud of our deputies for finding different ways to serve and protect, whether it’s responding to calls for service, conducting traffic enforcement, or even stepping in front of a camera to help educate the public.
