A player whose impact was felt far beyond the box score It is with heavy hearts that we cover Rondale Moore today. As of February 22, 2026, the football world is mourning the tragic passing of the 25-year-old wide receiver, who was found deceased in his hometown of New Albany, Indiana, yesterday Rondale was a "lightning bolt" in human form. He first shocked the world at Purdue in 2018, where as a 5’7” true freshman, he put up numbers that didn't seem real, including a 313-yard performance in his collegiate debut. He became the first true freshman in Big Ten history to be named a consensus All-American. While his NFL journey with the Arizona Cardinals, Atlanta Falcons, and most recently the Minnesota Vikings was frequently interrupted by tough injury luck—including a season-ending knee injury in the 2025 preseason—his teammates and coaches consistently spoke of his unmatched work ethic and infectious smile. Rondale Moore will forever be remembered as one of the most electric athletes...
