Pelvic floor will be ready, I have faith! 💪(truly, I’ve been working on it.) Our next microgravity research flight (which I’m writing the study protocol for) is 8 weeks postpartum so I wanted to flag my back-to-work goal to my medical teams well in advance. They’re all very familiar with my career and the physical demands on my body and after we laughed about it for a few minutes, they agreed it’s a realistic goal for me, albeit with the big & obvious caveats that this plan assumes a vaginal delivery that goes smoothly and I don’t require a c section (a big “if”) and so many other variables that are out of my control.
