A 25-meter wooden heart has gone up in flames at Nikola-Lenivets Art Park, marking the end of Maslenitsa in spectacular fashion. Inspired by Maxim Gorky’s story ‘Old Izergil,’ the installation echoes the legend of Danko, who raised his flaming heart to guide his people out of darkness.
