🎉 Congratulations to Dane, our Spring 2026 Future You Scholarship recipient! Dane is double‑majoring in Operations & Supply Chain Management and Marketing in the College of Business and Economics. This year marked his 5th or 6th Career Fair, his first was back in sophomore year! Each visit, he says, has helped him get more confident talking with employers and refining his career goals. To prepare, Dane tapped into the experience of his family, “They’ve had to navigate with no help, so I go to them for their experience.” He also researched employers ahead of time, creating a targeted list—and ended up connecting with 15 different organizations at the fair. His advice to other students? “Don’t be scared about a first impression. Don’t be afraid to sell yourself.” Dane says developing a strong elevator pitch has made all the difference.
