Part of our family is the Fox family- Emily, Nathan, Boston, Maddox, and Madeline. Members of the Mustangs Kids Club randomly get paired with Mustangs players, and Madeline was paired with Mustangs player Cole Slibowski a few seasons ago. Madeline and Cole instantly found a bond- Cole's mother had battled cancer, and Maddie was diagnosed with High Risk Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia at just 2 years old on 12/28/2017. She was life flighted to Children's Mercy, and received 3 years of intense treatment that ranged from daily chemo meds, weekly spinal taps, to weekend long chemo treatments, countless hospital admissions and ambulance rides.
