I have proudly been part of the Dancing Classrooms family since 2017 when I was a judge for the Colors of The Rainbow Competition for the elementary school match - I was a fan of the documentary film Mad Hot Ballroom that followed the journey of these dancing students and the transformation that this program had on these 5th graders, and here I was, a part of this incredible program! It was transformational for ME - I saw these kids dancing, performing, and CHEERING on their teammates. I saw their PARENTS cheering on their kids as if they were at their school basketball game versus a ballroom dance competition.
