Last night’s Board of Education meeting at Lakeview Intermediate School was a wonderful celebration of student achievement and staff excellence! Principal Andy Yanchunas kicked off the evening by highlighting the incredible accomplishments of our 700 fifth and sixth grade students. From academic growth to leadership opportunities, Lakeview continues to shine! He also shared exciting updates about expanded clubs and extracurriculars — including a new Chess Club ♟️ and the extremely popular Crocheting Club (run by art teacher Leah Renner), which has quickly become a student favorite. 🧶 Superintendent Dr. Felisha Gould and Board President Jason Whitacre proudly recognized this month’s Center Stage Award recipients, honoring 12 outstanding staff members who consistently go above and beyond for our students and district.
