Over one-third of autistic adults over age 64 have been diagnosed with dementia, but care models for dementia are not built with autism in mind. That's why Autism Speaks and mclean_hospital are launching a Boston-area pilot to adapt a proven dementia care model for autistic adults and expand caregiver supports in Massachusetts.
