In a recent interview, Hilary Duff revealed her song “We Don’t Talk” from her album 'Luck… or Something' is about her estrangement from sister, Haylie Duff.
“It’s definitely about my sister,” Hilary shared, calling the situation “the most lonely part of my existence” and saying the track helped her process a painful, personal truth. The song explores how relationships can quietly fall apart and her hope that one day they can find their way back to how they were as kids.
The sisters, once inseparable after working together on 'A Cinderella Story' and 'Material Girls', haven’t been seen together publicly since 2019, fuelling years of fan speculation.
“It’s my truth,” Hilary said. “So I might as well say how it is for me.”
