We just wrapped up the last day of the #trainsandtiarastour with Amtrak Virginia 🚆 We can’t believe how fast these past 5 days have gone — they have been truly incredible!! To sum up the last day in Newport News, Virginia - our Miss Virginia Volunteer & Miss Virginia Teen Volunteer had an amazing guided tour of the Virginia War Museum where they learned about the history of U.S. development from 1775, special galleries and entertaining exhibits. They then went over to the The Newsome House Museum and Cultural Center and learned about the elegant 1899 Queen Anne residence. Their last stop of the day was another guided tour of the Downing Gross Cultural Arts Center Cultural Arts Center - home to the Ella Fitzgerald Theater!🎭 So much beautiful history in Newport News ❤️ A special thank you to Amtrak, Virginia Passenger Rail Authority & Siddall Communications for all they have done to make this trip possible & run so smoothly!
