Our Miss Virginia Volunteer started her Day 3 of the #trainsandtiarastour by waking up in the beautiful Caroline House at The Richard Johnston Inn in Fredericksburg, Virginia 🏡 📍ASHLAND // After arriving in Ashland, VA this morning, Kate walked around the town taking in the cutest sights & meeting the sweetest people, like Paul Mackey, an Amtrak Virginia volunteer. She then toured the Ashland (VA) Museum and learned about the history of the town. Ashland has the coolest store like Tiny Tim's Trains & Toys where they have all kinds of model trains!🚂 📍RVA // Kate hopped on the train to Richmond, Virginia around lunchtime and got to enjoy a snack on her journey! After stopping in Richmond, she went to volunteer at the local Ronald McDonald House Charities (RMHC) where she helped pack supplies and cook premade meals for families.
