Jody Jones from Tulare County stood alongside President Donald Trump on Monday during Angels Family Day, an event recognizing families who have lost loved ones in crimes involving people in the country illegally. Jones said his brother, Rocky, was shot and killed by an illegal immigrant. Jones has shared his family’s story publicly and described him as speaking “for families who feel forgotten by politicians who apologize for criminals instead of standing with victims.
