Home sweet home! The Windsor girls’ golf team captured its 10-team home invitational today under cold and windy conditions at Pelican Lakes 🥶 Four Wizards finished among the top 12 with sophomore Macy Kleve and senior Paige Bretz claiming the top two spots. Windsor’s four-person score of 345 (57-over) was 15 strokes better than second place Holy Family. Kleve’s 7-over round of 79 featured two birdies and nine pars. Bretz concluded her final high school home event with an 84 (12-over) that also featured two birdies. Junior Alexa Strohman tied for 6th with an 89 (17-over), sophomore Abbie Winterbottom tied for 12th with a 93 (21-over), and senior Mary D’Ovidio rounded out varsity scoring with a 97 (25-over) to finish in 22nd place. Three junior varsity players also teed it up with junior Allison Sanger placing 30th with a score of 105 (33-over), sophomore Kylie Farris tied for 36th with a 110 (38-over) and classmate Samantha Wilcox tied for 41st with a 113 (41-over).
