A back-and-forth first half saw Olympiacos take a 37-39 cushion into halftime. The visitors opened the third quarter with a 2-9 run and maintained a 51-60 lead after 30 minutes, but Zalgiris responded with a 10-0 surge in the fourth and sent the game to overtime.
What followed was an exchange of blows before a missed triple by Tyler Dorsey saw the duel go to second overtime. Then, Olympiacos started with a quick 0-5 run, but Zalgiris fired on all cylinders from beyond the arc, securing a hard-fought victory.
The Lithuanian side protected its home court and improved its record to 17-12, while Olympiacos suffered its second straight road loss, dropping to 18-10. Nigel Williams-Goss and Sylvain Francisco paced Zalgiris with 23 points each, while Moses Wright paired his 14 points with a career-high 13 rebounds and Maodo Lo netted 15. Evan Fournier led all scorers with a career-high 32 points, with Dorsey scoring 16 and Tyrique Jones bagging 14 in a losing effort.
