It connects directly via the camera’s hot shoe, so no cables are required. With six selectable directional modes, it adapts easily to a wide range of recording situations. When paired with the S1II series, 32-bit float audio recording and backup recording are supported—all in a compact, pocket-sized body weighing approximately 0.22 lb. It is compatible with LUMIX S1II, S1RII, S1IIE, S5II, and S5IIX with the latest firmware planned to be released on March 9th at 9:00pm ET.
