There is something so powerful about sitting with patients in crisis at 3am. This is genuinely what I came into this field to do ❤️ accessing mental health care and being forced into a locked psych ward can carry its own trauma so I try to be a calming force to help guide patients through some of their most vulnerable moments. It’s not lost on me for a moment that my regular work day might be the worst day of someone’s life. This month of nights is such an amazing learning experience and I can feel myself getting more confident in my admission and medication decisions every day! #medicalstudent #medicalschool #psychiatry #psychward #Residency
