I feel like I was just a new intern looking up to the PGY2s on emergency psych 🥹 It feels so fulfilling to have so much autonomy in this new role. At my program we don’t even have to staff with an attending which feels wild, I get to decide on my own based on my clinical judgment and assessment whether to admit a patient from the emergency room to the psychiatry unit.
