As a first year psychiatry resident my goal was to study enough to pass comfortably, without wasting my time overdoing it studying subjects like OBGYN and surgery that I’ll never encounter clinically! ⚡️I only studied for 2 weeks before my exam so all the information I reviewed stayed fresh ⚡️ I didn’t worry about completing Uworld (this ain’t STEP2) ⚡️If you do an emergency medicine or internal med rotation, schedule your exam afterwards so you have that extra clinical experience to inform you!
