Emergency medicine rotation, off to a great start! I was super nervous for this once since I never did EM in medical school (weirdly it wasn’t a requirement at my school), but I have been learning a TON and the vibes are great from all the residents & attendings I’ve worked with so far. . In the ER we work 8 hour shifts during the week and 12 hour shifts on weekends, I’m on for the next six nights in a row from 11 PM to 7:30 AM so interesting to be fully nocturnal for a week! .
