This is only part of why I decided to become a doctor, there is much more to the story, but I think a huge motivator was the autonomy and vote of confidence in myself. . I never wanted to be dependent on another person for any reason. I wanted my life to be so filled with meaning and purpose that no matter what happened in my personal life, I would feel fulfilled. I never wanted to be financially tied to anybody and I refuse to have anybody else be responsible for my happiness or success but me. I’m making these sacrifices to be a doctor for future Julia and I know she’s so proud of me :) .
