In this week’s episode, @itscloverdale shared his shift towards self-releasing music instead of relying on labels. In a nutshell - labels don’t really pump money into promo anymore, and it all ends up falling on the artists anyway. His advice to artists — don’t be afraid to self-release. It’s better to release your music consistently and keep control over it, including owning your masters. So now I’m curious to hear from fans. Do you care about the labels behind artists?
