I actually can’t believe it Im finally done with the hardest year of my life!! Third year of medical school has been incredibly challenging. You work 12hour days, then get home and have to force your brain to study every night to be able to pass the shelf exam at the end of each 6-8 week rotation. Its stressful because not only are people’s lives in your hands, but you’re being constantly evaluated by everyone around you. Even as an extrovert I struggle to have this much social interaction every day, meeting new people every 30 minutes in clinic and constantly caring about how the doctors you work with percieve you because that factors into your grade.
