Point and shoot cameras are a great way to get your start as a concert photographer. They are allowed at most venues and arenas, super compact, and also can be rented for $50 a day. I used the Sony RX 100 VII for this one and it’s incredible but what really makes it worth while is all the skills I have learned as a concert photographer over the years to make these images what they are.
