John Davidson - subject of the film 'I Swear,' a biopic about his experience with severe Tourette's syndrome - issued a public statement to 'Variety' after inadvertently shouting a racial slur at the BAFTAs while Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were presenting an award. The incident was met with severe backlash, as the BBC did not edit it out despite the 2-hour broadcast delay or speak with Michael and Delroy after the incident, as well as choosing to edit out Akinola Davies Jr’s acceptance speech with a plea to “Free Palestine”.
