WeCOACH and Hudl will launch the inaugural National Women Coaches Day on March 7 — a national moment to recognize the stories, leadership, and lasting impact of women coaches who have shaped sport from the sidelines, locker rooms, and huddles for generations.
This day honors the trailblazers who opened doors, the leaders changing the game right now, and the future coaches who will rise because they can finally see what’s possible.
For Makayla Tepe, volleyball coach, coaching is about creating the same confidence, belonging, and belief that sports gave her as an athlete.
She remembers what it felt like to have mentors who believed in her.
Now, she gets to be that voice for the next generation.
To create space. To build belief. To remind her athletes that they matter.
Her message to female athletes: your passion and your drive are powerful.
This is what coaching means.
Stand with us. Comment “NWCD” to sign the pledge and learn how to participate.
