Using WaveOrder is like restoring an old photo but grounded in science, not aesthetics.
Even the best microscopes can leave scientists with distorted data. This bioimaging tool allows us to visualize what’s really happening inside cells and tissues. Each panel in this series shows close-up images before and after reconstruction by WaveOrder, a new tool from Biohub scientists. In the last panel, you can see cells captured by three different microscopy techniques (orientation, brightfield and fluorescence); the tiny green specks are immune cells known as macrophages, which are much sharper and easier to discern with WaveOrder.
By making the invisible visible, WaveOrder can strengthen cutting-edge imaging tools, helping to make AI models built on that data more accurate and reliable.
