🗣️Global access to microscopes and imaging technologies is vital to scientific discovery. But advanced microscopes can be very expensive to buy and maintain. Caron Jacobs is helping make microscopes like this one more accessible using a modular microscopy system that researchers can build themselves, with freely-available plans for 3D-printed or specially milled parts, which are much more affordable to assemble and maintain.
