Before and After #acneawarenessmonth My adult acne started late in college and since then it has been trial and error, fighting my skin insecurities, avoiding people and places and overall just being dissatisfied with my skin. This year my skin got to one of its worst places and I vividly remember flipping out my phone and taking a picture with a smile on my face. 😂 Ladies and gentleman, now that is growth 🤌🏽 I am constantly having to remind myself that despite the physical pain that I feel from the acne, it doesn’t get to dictate my happiness. The journey hasn’t been an easy one and I have in no way arrived. I did however want to use this opportunity to encourage someone else struggling with acne or facial skin insecurities overall — It can and does get better.
