This February, our 7 Brew Hero is Peighton Goodman from Siloam Springs, Arkansas. When Peighton saw how challenging her Papa’s cancer treatments were, she turned her compassion into action and created a port pillow to ease his comfort. Seeing how much difference one simple comfort made, Peighton began sewing port pillows to donate to local hospitals so other cancer patients could experience the same relief. Her passion has sparked something special in her community. Thanks to the Siloam Springs Quilt Guild, Peighton has already created and donated more than 3,200 port pillows across the country, and now she wants to rally even more helping hands to reach her goal of 5,000 by the end of the year.
