LIONS FALL IN VALLEY CONFERENCE TITLE GAME: The jserrahockey team was denied in its quest to win the ADHSHL Valley Conference title on Friday, as the Lions were defeated by San Diego United 5-2 in the conference championship game at Great Park Ice and FivePoint Arena in Irvine. Freshman Kyle Bennett scored a first period goal for the Lions, while junior Griffin Blake added a second period score, which was assisted by Bennett.
