Jim Knowlton ‘78 held leadership positions for more than two decades in the U.S. Army before retiring in 2008 as a colonel. After his illustrious military career, Jim served as the Director of Athletics at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, the U.S. Air Force Academy, and at the University of California, Berkeley.
