Huge congratulations to our alumnus Fergal Guihen (General Nursing, 2021) on completing an epic 30,000km charity cycle from Roscommon to Australia 🚴🌍 Not bad for someone who had never properly camped or cycled long distance before setting off 😅 From Arigna, Co. Roscommon to the steps of the Sydney Opera House, his two-year journey crossed 28 countries and 3 continents, powered by grit, good humour and serious pedal power. On 7 February 2026, fergal.guihen rolled up to his finish line, raising almost €204,083 for Mayo Roscommon Hospice Foundation and NorthWest STOP suicide prevention services.
