After U.S. District Judge James Robart temporarily blocked President Trump's 2017 travel ban, barring some Muslim travelers, President Trump targeted him on social media. Death threats followed. "There is no dispute at the point that you start to talk about, I'm going to kill you, or I'm going to hurt you, or more importantly to me, I'm going to hurt your family. That's over the line and can't be tolerated,” Robart told 60 Minutes in 2021.
