A huge Shabbat Shout Out Mazel tov to our Varsity Girls Basketball team and their coaches and sports parents (because we know we can't do it without all of you!) on making DJDS history — (which, if you haven’t been paying attention, means in our 50 years), the Lady Tigers are 5280 League Champions. Coach Kirya — an alumna and former member of the program — shared that winning this championship “means everything,” a full-circle moment that reflects what hard work, dedication, and commitment can build over time. "This team plays with heart and rachmanus, " says Kirya. "Over the season, they learned that they didn’t have to force shots — that one extra pass could create a wide-open opportunity. That shift in trust and teamwork changed everything."
