How does that legacy inspire the way you advocate for your family to get the resources and accommodations they deserve in the autism community today? As a Black father, I carry the legacy of people who refused to be ignored. That inspires me to show up prepared, informed, and unapologetic when advocating for my child in the autism community. I’ve learned that closed mouths don’t get fed—and silence doesn’t protect our kids.
