The NorthStar SailGP Team representing Canada is back in action this weekend for the 3rd stage of SailGP 2026 season that will take place in Sydney, Australia. After two events, the Canadian team is currently 9th overall. Sydney always delivers tight racing, challenging conditions and an electric fan atmosphere on Shark Island. This weekend will mark an exciting first for SailGP, with racing taking place in a new twilight “Golden Hour” window, racing from 17:30 to 19:00 (local time) on both race days. Notably, France and New Zealand will not compete in the Sydney event, following on from the collision in Auckland.
