Day 1️⃣ of SEC Indoors featured the DMR and the 5,000 meters. South Carolina’s womens DMR, featuring Sylvia Chelangat, Akala Garrett, Eline Mast, and Salma Eldabra, took first with their time of 10:54.64. 🔥 The Gamecock men’s DMR (Andrew Salvodon, Edouard Lecrivain, Jaouad Khchina, Kaleb Burroughs) also took first with their time of 9:30.08. In the 5k, Sydney Vaught of Arkansas took first with her time of 15:02.52, breaking the facility and meet record.
