Cadette Girl Scout Adriyana is preserving history and honoring those too often forgotten. 💚 For her Silver Award, Adriyana launched “Honoring the Forgotten: Presenting the African American Cemeteries,” bringing awareness to her local cemetery, established in 1918 and home to more than 250 unmarked graves, including fallen soldiers. Through educational materials, digital records, and a community rock-painting initiative, she helped restore dignity to the site while inspiring ongoing care and service from local organizations and schools.
