In true RU–N fashion, we don’t celebrate the holidays alone, we do it hand in hand with our city #InNewarkOfNewark Last week, the Newark Division of rutgers_pd proudly continued their annual tradition of supporting the North Jersey Community Research Initiative’s njcri Friendsgiving, an event that helps provide warm meals to hundreds of unsheltered and food-insecure individuals across Newark. We are thankful for our police officers, community service officers, and staff who donated meals and resources, and a special thank you goes to our Security Division for cooking, preparing beverages, and showing tremendous generosity.
