New York Botanical Garden’s Annual Holiday Train Show & GLOW! One of my favorite holiday traditions is going to the New York Botanical Garden’s Holiday Train Show. We’ve been going to this amazing, beautiful, unique event for over a decade! But this is our first time back after a three year hiatus… and it was so nice to be back. Over the years I’ve carried each of my babies here in a carrier, nursed them on benches, and smiled as they pointed out Thomas The Tank with unabashed joy chugging around the track. To say @nybg holds a special place in my heart is not an exaggeration. Now the kids are much older and taller but the thrill from the trains and famous New York landmarks (over 200 made out of organic material) still exists, especially for me. We loved seeing the new outside expansion this year with trains and elevated tracks buzzing around against the glass dome backdrop of the Haupt Conservatory.
