The Lava Show! The Lava Show was co-founded by the husband and wife team of @ragga.ladylava and @kjullinn after witnessing the highest ever recorded lava fall in 2010. They translated this volcanic vibe into the perfect controlled indoor experience. Upon entering the @lavashowiceland you’re immediately transported. The colors, lighting, signature drinks, and even the bar are all on brand. After posing for a photo in front of the basaltic column wall you hang in the gorgeous lounge until it’s showtime. From your entrance into the theater until the very end, you feel the warmth. As we took our seats, the host introduced herself, her lava melting co-conspirator, and of course the main event of the show - the lava. As the genuine basaltic lava (from the 1818 Katla volcanic eruption) rolls down the tube sizzling, the room goes still.
