Solid progress all day ⬆️🏁 We started 19th and worked our way forward, finishing Stage One in ninth to grab a stage point. The No. 88 HendrickCars.com Chevrolet stayed in the fight inside the top 15, and we lined up 12th for a late restart before getting caught up in an incident that didn’t reflect the speed we had. The team did a great job making adjustments, and I felt like we were putting ourselves in position there at the end. The car was just a little tight in the low-speed corners, but we were still fighting inside the top 15. On that last incident, there really wasn’t anything I could do to avoid it.
