🏆 2024 ARTI Award Artist: Mary Mindiola  Mary Mindiola, originally from San Cristóbal, Venezuela, is the fourth daughter of an American mother and a Venezuelan father. After studying Graphic Design and Illustration at Kendall College of Art and Design, she became acutely aware of plastic pollution during a Caribbean vacation. This led her to abandon paint in favor of using only glue, scissors, and magazines, creating vibrant, colorful artworks with hidden messages and images. Her work reflects the idea that each piece is a vital part of a larger, interconnected world.
