The artistry of two living legends, culminating in one hypnotic dance performance. Choreographer Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker premiered her very first work, Fase, Four Movements to the Music of Steve Reich, in 1982. Precise in movement and rigorous in execution, the work illustrates the music while playing with its continuously changing forms and patterns, adding a new dimension to each composition. Swiftly lauded by audiences and critics alike upon its debut, the work is one of the most important works in 20th-century dance and has been performed consistently for more than 40 years on major stages and festivals worldwide. This April, we're thrilled to present the Singapore debut of Fase at the Singtel Waterfront Theatre at Esplanade, offering a rare look at a foundational pillar of contemporary dance history. Here's your chance to see this seminal work in movement, from 23 โ€“ 25 Apr. ๐ŸŽŸ๏ธ available at esplanade.com/dans or via the link in bio. #EsplanadeSG #WonderHere #dansfocus
