‼️📣 Ramadan Day 13: right now we are responding to an urgent case of an elderly survivor of domestic violence with severe psychological issues and with ongoing diseases including congestive heart disease. Her multiple children refused to take her in after believing the decline of her health was “too much” for them to handle. All eight children - refusing to step up in any way. She was forced to be put in the streets and in a state of psychosis. This is one of the most severe and complex cases we’ve received due to her fragility, the amount of abuse she’s endured, and the lack of resources she can access because she is not a citizen. Right now - we are raising funds to provide her with the critical care she is in dire need of - including clothing, food, legal, and medical support.
