Myron remembers exactly what life felt like before he found help. He was living on the streets, sleeping at a bus stop and panhandling each day just to afford something to eat. It was exhausting, lonely and a constant reminder of how far things had fallen. He describes that time as the lowest point in his life.
Everything began to change when someone else experiencing homelessness told him about TCAA. With nowhere else to turn, Myron reached out, and this decision became the turning point in his journey. Through the program, he received shelter, daily meals, transit support, a move-in kit and access to Rapid Re-Housing resources. For the first time in a long while, he felt safe and supported.
Myron credits the structure, encouragement and compassion he found in the program with giving him hope again. His case manager pushed him to take steps toward stability, including finding a job, and he is deeply grateful for her persistence. As he settled into the shelter, he began to rebuild ...
