Getting a good shot takes a lot of work. Early wake ups, location scouting, and gear preparation are all must dos. However, sometimes, luck is also an essential factor. I would definitely say I lucked out on this morning. For a short period of time during sunrise, the sun rays hit the forest infant of me at a perfect angle, peaking through the trees into the mist. Out of my 4 years of photography, this was my first time seeing such strong rays. I spent 10 minutes shooting this scene before it quickly disappeared.
