As we closed out Black History Month under the theme “Celebrating Our Legacy of Excellence: 100 Years and Beyond,” Malcolm X College celebrated in true HBCU fashion! ✊🏾✨ Local high school students joined us for a high-energy day filled with culture, competition, and connection. From Black History Month Jeopardy (with prizes on the line!) to a powerful Black Greek panel discussion and an HBCU College & Resource Fair — the campus was alive with learning and pride. The crowd was electrified by the sounds and majorettes of the Proviso East High School Marching Band and powerful step performances from the Tau Psi Zeta Alsip Alumnae Chapter’s The Pearl Zone and the Chicago Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter’s Duck Dynasty. 🔥 Special thanks to our vendors, the MXC Student Government Association, and the Black History Month Committee for making this event unforgettable.
