Here the view extends across the whole Island of Capri, the Bay of Naples, the Amalfi Coast, and even the distant mountains of Calabria. 🚡The easiest way to get to Capri’s highest point, on the summit of Monte Solaro, is to ride the chairlift. The trip takes about 12 minutes and at the time of this post costs about $15 per person and cannot be pre-booked. (Opening times and prices may vary by season.) 🚌 The bus from Capri stops just outside the entrance to the chairlift in Anacapri so be sure to get off when the driver calls out, “Anacapri” and then walk up the steps which you’ll find opposite the stop.
